Chinese Lanterns a hit at Halloween

It’s creeping up on us once again…an evening where all things scary and ghoulish are celebrated…a night where we love to dress up and frighten our friends (and maybe even ourselves) by transforming ourselves into hideous figments of a parallel world….yes, it’s Halloween! With less than a fortnight to go, it’s really time to get cracking on planning the ultimate party, so we’ve thought up a few ideas to help you along.
Creepy crawly jelly and ice scream:
A sure thing to get your hungry guests really in the mood, these creepy treats are so easy to make. Just stir some Halloween sweeties, such as snakes, bats and bugs, into your liquefied jelly mixture and let it set. For the ice cream, crafty chocolate chips can look like squashed flies. Gross!
Silly decorations for your house:
Silly string, easy to buy and easy to clean away after, can make for great cobwebs when sprayed around your party venue. Why not even trap some victims in your webs, such as cuddly toys or figurines.
Pumpkin Chinese lanterns:
Round off your evening with these gems, and experience an en masse release of glowing pumpkins, floating serenely into the night. And who knows, you may even scare a few others with the sight!
