Kids make the funniest wishes

wish upon a chinese lanternIt’s a pretty well- known fact that kids really do say the funniest things. Their unself-conscious approach is really refreshing, and certainly can make for humorous situations when they say whatever comes to mind, without stopping to think first.
We at Wishlantern have heard of some bizarre and unusual wishes that have been made during the releases of Chinese lanterns, but what about when youngsters have the opportunity to wish for what they really desire, what do they say then?
We thought we’d share some of the best wishes we’ve heard, with you:
Tom, aged 4: I wish that I would be Spiderman and wrap my sister up in a web, and leave her outside.
Caroline, aged 5: To be a cat.
Tim, aged 7: I think I wouldn’t mind being a grown up film star with lots of people everywhere looking after me.
Henry aged 7: To be a millionaire footballer like David Beckham- but I wouldn’t want to be married to Victoria Beckham, I don’t like her as much as David.
Sarah, aged 5: To be a vet and save the lives of millions of animals all over the world, from all kinds of illness. And bring the extinct ones back to life.
Emily aged 6 and ½: To spend all day talking with my friends on MSN and things like that, and never have to go to school. That would be much more fun than homework and all the rest of it.
So there we have it- we hope all their wishes come true!
