Little did we know that the celebrity fans of Chinese lanterns are all over the place, so we were completely delighted to discover that the lanterns made into Cameron Bailey’s, the co-director of the Toronto Film Festival, Top Ten Whatevers of 2009. Coming in at number ten, Bailey described how he’d seen Chinese lanterns released in Barbados, where he spent New Year’s Eve of the previous year, and how watching them float away was the “best FX he’d seen all year”. In celebration of our placing on the list, we thought we’d join in with the “Top Ten Whatever” thing, and share ours with you (although we’ve narrowed it down to five):
1) Sunday lie-ins with the paper and the cat.
2) Our Santa lanterns which were such a hit last Christmas- bring on the festive cheer!
3) Boiled egg and soldiers, with a runny yolk and lovely buttery bread.
4) Getting photos developed, and finding that classic you didn’t remember taking.
5) Dancing like loons and have a jolly good time.
If you have any questions about our products, or would like to share your top ten “whatever”, then please get in touch- we love hearing from you!
